We would love to hear from you! Do you think we are crazy or would you just love to do the same thing?
I welcome all of your comments and suggestions.
We loved all of the suggestions for the Mascot's name, and during our trips it became apparent from his behavior that his name had to be:

 Motley (for Motley Crew) Cap'n Flint Hister  and his girlfriend  Parrot Hilton! He has been giving the Captain hell about the lack of appropriate grog  and for not providing enough music during the cruise. The crew is often offended by his loud and obnoxious jibes at their ability (or lack of) to navigate to see Parrot Hilton, and the crew's lack of understanding when it comes to tabloid journalism. He has been known to get on the VHF radio and blast  power boat owners for being over-consumers of energy and to demand his own special channel to spout his opinions of world affairs. Indeed, we of the Pura Vida are happy he is with us, but don't claim any responsibility for the views he expresses.
